Sofia the First Party: Curse of Princess Ivy

A few days ago, we held a Sofia the First Premiere Party for eight local moms and their little princesses! The girls designed butterfly hair clips, decorated their castle placemats with Sofia stickers, ate mini sandwiches from Jimmy Johns, ate yummy marshmallow treats and butterfly-shaped sugar cookies, listened to me read the book, Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy (from the next brand new episode!) and then, snacked on some popcorn while watching the premiere of Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy.
The little girls loved watching Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy! Princess Rapunzel makes a special appearance, there's singing dragons, and you get to meet a new princess called Princess Ivy. How fun does that sound? Here's an official synopsis:"Disney Junior presents a Family Night Special event, where secrets are revealed, the amulet is stolen and darkness comes to Enchancia! When’s Sofia’s magical amulet falls into the wrong hangs, it brings a curse and a new princess named Ivy who threatens to take over the kingdom and turns everything black and white. Rapunzel joins Sofia and Amber in this exciting movie event, where princesses must team up to reverse the curse and bring the color back to Enchancia before it’s too late!"
