Cartoonist Charles Schulz introduced Snoopy as the World War I Flying Ace in 1965, and over the decades it became one of Snoopy’s most recognized personas. The Snoopy and the Red Baron traveling gallery exhibition from the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, gives insight into this charismatic character, from the origin of the story line, to how Schulz researched all aspects of World War I to bring authenticity to the Peanuts comic strips. Snoopy and the Red Baron brings the full story of the World War I Flying Ace to life. The gallery exhibition at Crown Center will delight fans who grew up with the Ace and introduce new audiences to Snoopy’s adventures in the sky. Visitors will enjoy high-quality reproductions of original comic strips, works of art, and memorabilia items from the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. Interactive family-friendly elements will include comic strip drawing, Snoopy coloring page, paper airplane making, and photo opportunities.
