About Parade

Set in the early 20th century in Georgia, Parade tells the story of Leo and Lucille Frank, a Jewish couple navigating their love and faith amidst a deeply divided community. When Leo is falsely accused of a horrific crime, their journey becomes a profound test of justice, humanity, and devotion. With its stirring narrative and hopeful undertones, Parade reminds audiences of the importance of truly seeing and understanding one another.

An Award-Winning Creative Team

Parade is directed by Tony Award® winner Michael Arden, featuring a book by two-time Tony Award® winner, Pulitzer Prize winner, and Academy Award® winner Alfred Uhry. The music and lyrics are crafted by three-time Tony Award® winner Jason Robert Brown. The show was co-conceived by the legendary Harold Prince, a 21-time Tony Award® winner.

The cast includes Max Chernin and Talia Suskauer as Leo and Lucille Frank, alongside a stellar ensemble featuring Griffin Binnicker, Ramone Nelson, Andrew Samonsky, Danielle Lee Greaves, and many others. The creative team includes Tony Award® nominees and winners for scenic, costume, lighting, sound, and projection design, ensuring a production of the highest caliber.

Acclaimed Revival and National Tour

Parade first premiered at New York City Center in November 2022 and enjoyed a sold-out Broadway engagement, concluding on August 6, 2023. Critics hailed the revival as a triumph, with The New York Times describing it as “a work of art” and Entertainment Weekly calling it “the most gorgeous production on Broadway.”
